Leland married his sweetheart, Melissa Rachel Jones, for time and all eternity!

Look at the COOL GUY who is taking out his endowments in the Albuquerque, New Mexico Temple on Saturday, the 15th of August! Isn't that an awesome thing to be doing? Chris will be his escort through the temple. Congratulations Leland!!!

Elder Brown Returns Tomorrow

I cannot believe that it has been two years! It started off so slow, but has just been flying lately. I am grateful for email, but there is nothing like talking to your son! Chris arrives at the Farmington airport at 2:32pm on the 13th of August. We cannot wait!
Chris' plans are to come home, then return to Utah to attend UVU in January. He is going to take their Collision Repair Technology Course. I just hope that we don't "lose" him to Utah! LOL

Where has the time gone?

Has it really been almost a year since I blogged?! Bad Blogger!! Bad Blogger!! We just had Shelby graduate from Piedra Vista High School on May 21st (in the rain, no less), and then moved her up to Provo to go to Utah College of Massage Therapy. She started classes on May 26th. She will have her certificate December 17th, 2009. We are proud of her for the decision that she has made. She just found out today that she got hired on at Sonic right by her apartment (that she shares with Jourdan), and she starts next week. Go Girl!!!

Leland has been asked to be the organist for the upcoming SYA Conference for Southern California! He just learned to play the organ TWO WEEKS AGO!! Congrats Leland!!!

Family Blog

Okay, so I forgot my password cuz it had been so long since I had gotten on here. HAHAHAHA I have Taylor helping me so we can set this up now. Everyone is wanting to stay in closer touch with the rest of the family, so I am wondering if we all want to start a "Dollar Family" blog here?

Christmas 2007

This is all new to me (Vickie), but I'm trying to keep up with technology. LOL.  We had a great Christmas!  Everyone was home, except Chris who is serving in the Utah, SLC South Mission.  We had a great visit with him on the phone Christmas Day.  The family got a Wii for Christmas, and having the time of their life "bonding" with it.  Dad and Jourdan went snowboarding Christmas Eve Day.  Mom got an iTouch, and is trying to figure out how to use it. LOL  Here is to a great 2008!
